Marshall DSL40C quit working.

I was playing the Marshall at very low volume and it crapped out and died. Tubes lit except V1, channel LEDs all went out. That points to FS3 which runs all the switching, reverb effects loop, and V1 heater.

FS3 looks good but tested open. Hmmm, some dummy put a 500mA fuse in there where a 1A fuse belongs. I don't even remember the last time I opened it up so it's been running for years like that. I looked in my fuse stash and I'm all out of 1A. That's probably why there was a 500mA fuse in there because I was probably out of them the last time I needed one. Either that or the chode that worked on my amp under warranty put in the wrong fuse. But I fully admit that I could be the chode in question. I ordered some 1A time delayed fused and it's all back to working order.

I'm just glad it didn't happen at a show or something. However, it's nice that Marshall rectified the heater in V1. It does make a difference.
